Water Lilly with Reflection

The surprises keep coming. The reflection was what I set to shoot and it turned out to be very simple. In the s5 is Canon’s DIGIC III image processor which is an upgrade from the DIGIC II shared by both my Canon s2 and the even older a70. The new processor renders better I think.
Had my first battery change and it was an awkward experience. Ended up shifting the camera to my left hand and using my right hand to access the battery door. With the s2 I did not need to switch hands. The battery swap is not as clean but it’s a manageable experience and I should get better, faster with time.
Next test is to make a movie. I bought a 4 gig high capacity card specifically so I could shoot some movies. I have the capability to record video at 640×480 and while recording shoot high resolution stills at the same time. I’ll show you both stills and film when that happens.
