For Going, Going, Gone. I really do feel the USA is going, going and nearly gone. Explains all the droopy flags I’ve been photographing lately. I don’t much notice the loud wind flappers anymore but the limp flags do get my attention. I see them as symbolic of the course this country has taken with the wars and the associated political nonsense. It’s still the flag just the symbol seems to have run out of natural wind. Stagnation.
